Welcome to Riverside Canoe in Crumpler, NC. Riverside Canoe, a full service outfitters, offers New River canoeing in Northeastern Ashe County. With Riverside Canoe you can begin your adventures by canoes on the beautiful south fork along the 26 mile section of the National Wild & Scenic New River. We offer canoe, kayak, tube, and cabin rentals. Our self guided New River paddling trips range from 2 hours to 8 hours or overnight. We also offer overnight guided trips. If you're not sure what trip to take, give us a call and we'll be happy to go over the details of each New River canoeing trip with you. Lessons are available for those who are unsure or haven't paddled before. The New River, which is believed to be the second oldest river in the world, with it's free flowing water and sections of mild rapids, is great for novice as well as experienced paddlers. Riverside Canoe is within a short drive to the New River State Parks, Jefferson and West Jefferson and convenient to Boone, Blowing Rock, Sparta and the Blue Ridge Parkway, as well as the High Country ski areas.

We strongly suggest reservations on weekdays.
