Here at Riverside Canoe, we can accommodate large groups including church groups, businesses, scouts, schools, family reunions, etc.  We can help you plan a paddling or tube floating excursion for a fun day on the river.  If your group would like more than one day, we can help you coordinate overnight stays as well.

Sorry, for safety reasons we do not allow children under 3 years of age in our canoes/kayaks or tubes.

Canoes & Kayaks

   5 mile (approx. 2 hours)  Put in at Plum Nearly Rd.

  11.5 miles (approx. 6 hours) Put in at Fulton Reeves Rd.

  14 miles (approx. 8 hours)  Put in at J.E. Gentry Rd

We recommend that everyone wear a life jacket. North Carolina law requires that there must be a life jacket for each person in each boat at all times. 
Anyone under 12, must wear a life jacket at all times.
Our rentals include the canoe/kayak (paddles, life jackets) or tube and shuttle to launch.

All customers are required to complete our Waiver.
Customer Information Form and waiver, print out the form, read it, complete and sign the bottom section only.  Please put the names and ages of everyone in your party on the bottom or back of the waiver.

Camping Cabin Rentals

Cabins 1 and 2 are $55.00 each per night (plus tax 7% in NC & 3% County occupancy tax.)

Cabin 3 is $75 per night ( plus tax 7% in NC & 3% County occupancy tax.)

​

Cabins 1 and 2 are one room and rustic (no plumbing or electric).  Each cabin has a gravel patio under roof.   Each cabin has a double bed and a platform for a single air mattress or pad and sleeping bag, and a small loft that will sleep 1 person in a sleeping bag.  No linens are provided for the bed, so you will have to either bring sleeping bags or sheets, pillows and blankets.  Each cabin will sleep 4.  There is a fire pit, charcoal grill and picnic table for each cabin.

Cabin 3 has two rooms and does have electricity but no plumbing. This cabin has 2 twin beds and a futon that converts to a full bed.  Linens are not provided for the bed or the futon, so you should bring sheets, pillows and blankets.  The cabin has a refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. There is no stove inside the cabin. There is a charcoal grill outside. This cabin DOES NOT have air conditioning.  Each room has a ceiling fan. Just open the windows and let the mountain air flow through.  The cabin has a picnic table and fire pit, and as mentioned a charcoal grill.

 

There are no bathrooms in any of these cabins.  The bath house (with hot showers) is about 100 feet from the cabins.
